Dreaming of the O.C.

You know how you dream about what you were thinking about when you fell asleep? Well I watched four episodes of the world’s favorite T.V. show before bed last night. Here’s a brief synopsis of my dream episode of the O.C.:

It was about 7 a.m. Seth was getting ready for his Jeep race which he does every year. It was his birthday and he celebrated it at home with Ryan, Kirstin, and Summer, who cooked toast. Sandy didn’t make it because he overslept, angering Seth, who wanted to talk about the start of the race. Apparently it goes through a stream bed at the beginning and he was worried he would roll his rig. I also assumed Summer and him were still dating, because why else would she be over there cooking toast at 7 a.m.?

Meanwhile, Ryan and Luke were both living with Jimmy somehow. (how two guys that used to date his daughter could end up living with him is beyond me, but anything can happen in the O.C.) But all was not well in paradise. They had both decided to move out because of Jimmy’s actions at a party: “kissing the girls and hanging out with Lance Armstrong.”

Ryan, in an apparent character change from his humble earlier days, argued he “couldn’t be seen with(jimmy) in public because of what he had done.”

Appearance-wise, neither of the lads had cut theirhair since Season 1 and both looked like ass-clowns –esp. Ryan, whose hair went curly and resembled a cut-rate Eddie Vedder. Luke’s hair remained straightand appeared to be longer – but then again, Ryan’s was curly so you can never really tell which was longer without straightening it out.

And I vaguely remember some sub-plot of Ryan being a pirate before he came to Newport Beach. But a pirate in the colonial days of America.

I am unsure where the following fits in. My mom had put pesto pasta salad directly into the shelves of the downstairs freezer – no Tupperware, Saran wrap oranything. But there were still 20-25 corndogs left from a Costco pack. The refrigerator was all potato salad, but the kind you get over here which is really gross. I would estimate there were 50-60 pounds of it.
