Big Shot Beeyatch

Enough already with this Robert Horry nonsense. Isn't everyone getting a little carried away? I mean, this is Robert Horry we are talking about. Robert "I was a huge bitch when I came in the league" Horry.

Robert "I continued to be a huge bitch when Jordan retired and I jumped on Hakeem's back for a couple gift titles, then signed with the Spurs - remind me to thank my agent - for a couple more titles despite my personal period of extended mediocrity" Horry.

How can anyone talk about the Hall of Fame for a guy whose career averages are 7.5 and 5? Steve Kerr hit a couple threes, so did John Paxson and (dare I say it) Derek Fisher. And I don't care what anyone else says, that three that he hit with the Lakers barely went down - I mean it hit the front rim and still went down.

Talk about Ron Harper syndrome. Let's not forget that you are garbage and you have been lucky enough to play on some good teams with some outstanding players. At least someone points this out, along with the fact that he has missed his fair share of shots.

In my mind, there's no difference between Big Shot Knob and Rick Fox.

I agree that the Rob Horry for Hall of Fame hype is outrageous. What's up with Bill Simmons writing during these playoffs about how he is above the kneejerk reactions? Every column he writes is clearly informed only by the last game. He's totally phoning it in since he had his kid.

You have to take the Spurs in game seven right? Duncan doesn't look that great though and a Pistons win would fulfill my prediction for the series. But Detroit could not possibly take 6 and 7 by the Riverwalk (gayest city defining landmark ever)....could they? COULD THEY??????

First of all Robert Horry is destined for the Hall of Fame. He is one of the best of all time in the clutch. Robert is the ultimate example of a team player. I don't know if you know this, but his middle name is "intangibles". Dare I mention 7 titles! Oops I did! Robert meet Larry, Michael, Earvin, Doc, Cous, Abdul, and the rest.

Well if that's the case, wouldn't Hersey "intangibles" Hawkins be in the Hall of Fame? Or maybe Nate McMillan?

Plus, his feet are too wide when he goes up for a shot which has always bothered me.

The point in the slate article is a good one - no one remembers when he screws up. which is often. And besides, you like Rick Fox.
