And other Prague things
Well, my flight left at 7:30 from Zurich, which meant that I had to be in Zurich by 6 a.m., which meant that I had to leave Basel at 4:40, which meant that I had to wake up at 3:45, which meant that I was a little CRANKY because I wanted a Snickers bar and I passed up the perfect opportunity to purchase one, but i didnt, and then on the plane you could buy sandwiches but they were $8 and i didnt have that on me, but the night before i had a BIG dinner which gave me indigestion for most of the first day in prague, but that is okay, becasue the beer was about $1.50 for a pint, and was delicious, and I probably had about a million of them.
And I also noticed one thing upon arrival back in Switzerland. When I was in the Zurich airport, waiting in line for customs, there were probably about a hundred other people waiting also. Couples, kids, oldies...lots of poeple. But the strange thing was...
No sound.
Not even a little.
No one was speaking to one another - it was eerie. There wasn't even music or the buzz of advertisements in the background. Everyone just politely waiting to be processed - not unhappy or anything, just proper. Don't know what that means. I was thinking what I would have thought if I was a newbie and that was my first impression of Switzerland.
